Final Exam for pd. 1 is Tues. 12/19/06, will cover essay questions comparing main characters in F. 451 to main characters in L.O.Flies, and essay & short answer questions on Their Eyes were Watching God.

English 9-10G-p.2:
Work on your own original short story, next draft due Wed. 12/6. 9th graders: work on worksheets for Hound of Baskervilles, 12/12: HOB handout E-20, 12/13, work on draft of practice CAHSEE writing assignment.

Final exam for grades 9 & 10, pd. 2 is Tues, 12/19/06; final will cover the vocabulary lists distributed in class this week, analogies, synonyms and antonyms, questions on their current novels, questions on the elements of a short story/plot triangle, elements of how to write a story.

As well as characteristics of literature in Renaissance time period, Romantic time period, Realism and Modernism. Also questions about the life and times of William Shakespeare and his influences….

Physical Science: We will do Chapter 11 all this week. There will be one reinforcement worksheet each day.
Physics: This week, we’ll be ending the new learning with kinetic and potential energy calculations. Chapter 11 Practice Problems should be completed.
