2. Archetype Unit Test on Thursday. Study Archetype Notes, Star Wars packet,
Archetype Definitions including stages of the Hero Journey, Odyssey research
packet and Odyssey Quizzes Parts 1 & 2. We will be doing review activities
this week in class, but students should also study at home for the test.
3. Veterans Day Essay prompt has been distributed to the students. It
is generally thus: Write a 2-page essay on the meaning of sacrifice as
exemplified in the World War II generation. Prompt #1 – Use the
experience(s) of one or more service members as support. Prompt #2 –
Use the experiences of one or more family member(s) of service members
as support. OR Prompt #3 – Interview a service member and tell his
or her story in 1st or 3rd person. The essay is due Fri, 10/31 and there
will be NO CLASS TIME available to work on it. The due date is posted
on the Homework board in the room, students were given time to write it
in their planners, and I will give reminders occasionally, but the responsibility
for completing this assignment on time rests with the students.
AP (Period 4):
1. “Transfiguration” 4LA is due Friday, 10/31.
English 9H (Period 5):
