White Tiger Football on a winning season! ECHS White Tigers WIN Season Opener
Welcome to our second season of ECHS White Tiger Football! Last season we enjoyed great success, but the 2007 season will bring on greater challenges. Our players will continue to master the football fundamentals of running, tackling, blocking, and catching. However, we will also be working to achieve the following goals for the coming season, as well. 1) Implement two separate teams, a Junior Varsity level and a Varsity level, in order to provide an efficient program of developing the skills and the experience level of our student-athletes. 2) Complete a ten game JV schedule and a ten game varsity schedule. 3) Compete to win the Pacific League Championship. (Members of the league include La Jolla Country Day School, Tri-City Christian, Army/Navy Academy, and Calipatria). 4) Qualify for Division IV CIF post-season competition. 5) Encourage our student-athletes to grow in their commitment to our White Tiger football program, demonstrate their character of respect and honor on and off the football field, and compete against other student-athletes with determination, courage, and respect. As you can see, we have some significant challenges for this coming season. These goals can be reached by one thing: Working as One. We will need to be one in communication, as coaches, players, parents, teachers, and administrators share openly and honestly to improve the efforts of our student-athletes. We will need to take the time, the effort, and the dedication to complete one play at a time, one series at a time, one quarter at a time, one half at a time, one game at a time.
