Girls 2007/2008 Volleyball Makes CIF Playoffs.

This was the first year in the Frontier Conference for ECHS Girls Volleyball. The Girls Volleyball team had a GREAT season record and made the CIF playoffs.

My first thought as I watched the White Tigers Girls Volleyball Team warm up was that Coach Tahli Henry had them very well prepared, and had instilled great discipline and teamwork in to her team. The girls were ready for this, the first ever CIF game in their very first season in the conference.

In the first round of the playoffs the White Tigers came up against a powerhouse team in Mater Dei. The first game of the 5 game match was a nail biter and very exciting. The White Tigers lead most of the game but got nipped at the end of the game 22-25. The second game of the 5 game match was not pretty. The girls got out of sync and got pounded 4-25. After a pep talk from the coaches the girls renewed their resolve and battled the Mater Dei Crusaders point for point the entire game but came up short 22-25.
