CHARTER NOTES

Week 1

Welcome Back! This year promises to be exciting as the Traditional Classroom Program continues to grow, provides expanded learning opportunities for students, and prepares to graduate the Class of 2007! For returning TCP students, there are some new faces on the teaching staff as well as some minor changes in the school. I would ask each of you, particularly the seniors, to be a positive influence this year. This involves helping the staff maintain a positive learning environment and taking pride in our school. In addition, students need to remember that academic success requires hard work, perseverance, and a positive attitude. I look forward to working closely with you this year to ensure your continued success.—Mr. Roner, Director, TCP

Welcome Back Cook-Out: There will be a Welcome Back Cook-Out and short assembly for all students during lunch on Friday, August 18. Students will be dismissed for the cook-out and assembly at 12:05 p.m. Free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and cookies will be provided. Welcome back to school!

Daily Schedule (TCP): The daily schedule remains the same as last year. Remember there is a five (5) minute passing period between classes, a fifteen (15) minute silent reading time before third period, and a thirty-five (35) minute lunch period.
