Escondido Charter High School
"Education Is Our Business"
Charter Notes
Thursday and Friday, September 21 to 22, 2006
Week 6
Fall Sports and ISPE:
If you are playing a fall sport (football, cross country, or volleyball)
and complete the season, you will earn 5 PE credits for your participation.
As it is difficult to complete the requirements for both a sport and ISPE
at the same time, fall sports participants are advised to drop ISPE. In
order to drop ISPE, a parent must contact Mrs. McCrory via e-mail (kmccrory@echs.org)
or phone (737-3154) to request the drop from ISPE. Students playing a
fall sport will remain enrolled in ISPE until parent notification to drop
the course is received.
Support Our Troops:
For the next six weeks, TCP will be involved in a fundraiser in conjunction
with Blue Star Mothers of America to raise money that will be used by
military personnel serving over seas for postage during the holidays.
The fundraiser began September 11 and will end on Veterans Day. The fundraiser
will take place in the first period classes. The class that raises the
most money will win a pizza party during lunch.
PSAT Exam:
Registration for the PSAT Exam is open to juniors and sophomores. Only
25 spaces are still available, so don’t delay, see Mrs. McCrory
or Mrs. Endermann in the library to register. Payment, $12 cash (exact
change) or check (made payable to ECHS) must be provided at the time of
registration. Take advantage of this opportunity to prepare for the SAT
Exam, one of the primary factors used in college admissions decisions.

There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in
attending the Thanksgiving Service Project next Tuesday September 26th
at 6:00pm in room G105. All students interested in attending the trip
