Week 7
ISPE (TCP):
ISPE logs are due. Logs will not be accepted after Wednesday. All ISPE
logs, essays, and contracts should be placed in the basket in the Library!
Financial Aid Reminder:
All seniors are reminded to submit the FAFSA and GPA Verification Forms
by the March 2 deadline. These forms determine your eligibility to receive
federal and state financial assistance to attend a four-year university,
community college, or vocational school. Use the handouts distributed
in your English class for assistance.
WASC Visit:
A team representing the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
will visit ECHS on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, February 26-28. In
order to evaluate ECHS for accreditation, the team will visit classrooms
and meet with staff, students, and parents. The committee will report
its findings to the ECHS community on Wednesday, February 28 at 3:00 p.m.
in the library.
Community Service:
ECHS expects all students to complete a minimum four hours of community
service each semester. All hours must be reported on a community service
record form available in the Main Office.
Seniors:
Senior class sweatshirts will be sold for the low price of $35.00 until
Wednesday, February 28. Order forms are available in your English class
and should be returned with payment to Mrs. Soule (C102). Profits from
the sale of the sweatshirts benefit this year’s prom. For more information,
see Trisha Frulla or Salome Dominguez. Be part of the fun and order your
sweatshirt before it’s too late!
San Diego National College Fair:
Mark your calendars now for the San Diego National College Fair. The fair
will be held at the San Diego Convention Center on Wednesday, April 18.
Further information will be posted in the near future.
Join the Fun:
Seniors and juniors come join the Prom Committee in Mrs. Soule’s
room (C102) every Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
NHS:
The next NHS meeting will be held Tuesday, February 27 at 12:30 p.m. in
F-203.
CSF:
There will be an all-member meeting next Tuesday, February 20, at 12:30
p.m. in F-203.

Academic League:

Track Meeting:
Students interested in participating in track this year are invited to
attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, February 21 at 3:30 p.m.
in C201. There will be an important track meeting for all interested students
on Wednesday, February 21, 3:30 p.m., in Room C-201.
