Week 15

STAR Testing (TCP):
California STAR testing for all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will take place this week, April 23 through Thursday, April 26. The STAR consists of a series of exams in English, mathematics, social science, and science called the California Standards Tests (CST). TCP students will test in their first period classroom from 8:05 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. Students will then attend classes according to a modified bell schedule with dismissal at 2:55 p.m.
Note: The STAR BBQ will be held on Thursday, May 3 during lunch.

Senior Exhibition:
Seniors are reminded that the Senior Exhibition is tomorrow, April 27. If you have any last minute questions about your exhibition, please contact your mentor.

Rock Climbing:
Stressed after STAR testing? ASB presents an evening of relaxation and rock climbing at Solid Rock in San Marcos on April 26 from 4:45 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale during lunch every day this week for only $7! Tickets will not be sold at the door. In addition, a waiver form will be given to you at the time of ticket purchase; this MUST be signed and brought to Solid Rock. No waiver, no entry! Since rock climbing can work up an appetite, pizza will be for sale. Come and join us!

Community Service Opportunity:
Need community service hours for college? Come help Mr. Polk aka Coach Polk and North Coast Church make repairs on the Salvation Army in Oceanside this Saturday! For hours, directions, and information call (760) 715-1572 or e-mail jamesfpolk@sbcglobal.net

007 Prom:
If there are any students who were unable to purchase their tickets during the scheduled weeks, please contact Mrs. Childs directly in C100 in order to purchase tickets for $70. Come buy your ticket so you won’t miss this night to remember!
