ISPE (TCP):
ISPE logs are due. Logs will not be accepted after Wednesday. All ISPE
logs, essays, and contracts should be placed in the basket in the Library!
STAR Cookout:
All students are invited to attend the ECHS cookout to celebrate the completion
of STAR testing on Thursday, May 3 during lunch.
NOTE: Thursday, May 3 is a modified day. The schedule is attached.
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon:
All TCP staff members are invited to attend this year’s teacher
appreciation luncheon on Friday, May 4 during Friday will be a modified
school day. The schedule is attached.
Parent Advisory Meeting:
The last Parent Advisory Meeting for this school year will be held on
Tuesday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the library. All parents are urged to attend.
Topics to be discussed will include graduation, summer school, community
service, the new gym and theater, and next school year. Parents of Heritage
8th grade students planning to attend ECHS next year are also invited
to attend.
007 Prom:
If there are any students who were unable to purchase their tickets during
the scheduled weeks, please contact Mrs. Childs directly in C100 in order
to purchase tickets for $70. Come buy your ticket so you won’t miss
this night to remember!
Note: ILP students, please continue to give Prom packets to Mrs. Brooks
in the front office rather than contacting Mrs. Childs directly.
Staff and Parents:
The 2007 Prom Committee of Escondido Charter High School requests the
honor of your presence at “Diamonds are Forever” on May 12,
2007 from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM at the Bristol Hotel in downtown San Diego.
We need chaperones in order to ensure the success of Prom 2007. Your prompt
reply would be most helpful. If you are interested, please contact Mrs.

Yearbook:
Buy your yearbook now for the low price of $65. This year’s yearbook
is fantastic and you don’t want to miss out. Mr. Krause will take
orders each day after school in G103. Please make checks payable to “ECHS
ASB.”
Grad Night:
The Class of 2007 will celebrate Grad Night at Disneyland on Thursday,
May 31. Students will depart from ECHS at 9:30 p.m. and return on Friday
morning around 7:30 a.m. If you would like to chaperone, please contact

San Diego County College Expo: The San Diego County College Expo, a day
filled with practical tips and information on how to prepare for college,
will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Point Loma
Nazarene University. Representatives from community colleges and four
year universities will be on hand to provide expert advice about the college
search and preparation process. Visit www.collegeexpo.org for more detailed
information.
Chess Tournament:
The 2nd Annual Escondido Charter High School Chess Tournament will be
held on Wednesday, May 2 at 3:00 p.m. in the library. All students interested
in playing chess are invited. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals.
Join the dance team!
There will be a meeting today, April 30 for all students interested in
joining the dance team. The meeting will be held in B202 at 3:00 p.m.
Students will receive information about the team, audition, and summer
dance team camp. See Miss Anzalone in room G102 if you cannot make the
meeting or have any questions.
Track: Next week’s meet:
Thursday, May 3, ECHS and SDA at Calvin Christian, 3:30 p.m. TCP release
time will be 2:00 p.m. Go White Tiger track stars!
Golf: Previous match results:
Varsity- Bishop- 203- ECHS 234 (our lowest team score of the year). Upcoming
matches: Thursday, April 26: JV- Practice Round with parents, 3:30 p.m.,
Reidy Creek. Varsity- ECHS vs. Calvin Christian, 4:00 p.m., Eagle Crest.

Football Spring Training:
Football Spring Training practices will be held from Monday, May 14 through
Friday, May 18, and Monday, May 21-Friday, May 25, 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.,
on the ECHS soccer field. All participants must turn in their athletic
handbook paperwork to Coach Rea, in order to participate in these practices.
