STAR Cookout:
All students are invited to attend the ECHS cookout to celebrate the completion
of STAR testing on Thursday, May 3 during lunch.
Note: Thursday, May 3 is a modified day. The schedule is attached.
Spring Concert:
Do not miss the ECHS Choir’s Spring Concert, featuring music from
the Renaissance to the Beach Boys. There will be no charge for this concert
(donations accepted) to be held tonight and tomorrow night, May 3 and
4, at 7:15 in the Library. You won’t want to miss this event. Bring
your friends and family.
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon:
All TCP staff members are invited to attend this year’s teacher
appreciation luncheon on Friday, May 4 during lunch. Friday will be a
modified school day. The modified schedule is attached.
007 Prom:
Last call for prom tickets! Monday May 7, 2007 is the last day to buy
prom tickets. After Monday, tickets will no longer be available for purchase
and no exceptions will be made. Please contact Mrs. Childs directly in
C100 by 4:00 p.m. on Monday (5/7/07) in order to purchase tickets ($70).
Come buy your ticket so you won’t miss this night to remember!
Note: ILP students, please continue to give prom packets to Mrs. Brooks
in the front office rather than contacting Mrs. Childs directly. Mrs.
Brooks will no longer accept them after Monday 5/7/07
Staff and Parents:
The 2007 Prom Committee of Escondido Charter High School requests the
honor of your presence at “Diamonds are Forever” on May 12,
2007 from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM at the Bristol Hotel in downtown San Diego.
We need chaperones in order to ensure the success of Prom 2007. Your prompt
reply would be most helpful. If you are interested, please contact Mrs.

San Diego Beauty Academy Senior Open House:
San Diego Beauty Academy, located 13266 Poway Road, is hosting an open
house for seniors interested in the field of Cosmetology. The open house
will be held on Thursday, May 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Students
planning to attend must RSVP. Interested students should pick up a flyer
in the library or main office for more detailed information.
Yearbook:
Buy your yearbook now for the low price of $65. This year’s yearbook
is fantastic and you don’t want to miss out. Mr. Krause will take
orders each day after school in G103. Please make checks payable to “ECHS
ASB.”
WANTED!!! All Parents!!!
The 2007 PAB/Athletic second annual “Round Up the Funds” Fundraiser
is Saturday, September 29, 2007. Your help is needed in order to make
this event the most successful yet! Whether you are willing to serve as
a committee chairperson or as a member of a committee, all levels of participation
are available. This event is the biggest fundraising event held at ECHS.
Proceeds will benefit Athletics, the Cheer and Dance Teams and the PAB.
If you are interested in helping with this event, please contact Pati

Attention All Seniors:
Grad Night tickets and permission slips for Disneyland will be available
during lunch on May 14, 15 and 16. Tickets are $50 each and checks can
be made payable to ECHS PAB. Grad Night is May 31 from 9:00 p.m. to 7:30

Football Spring Training:
Football Spring Training practices will be held from Monday, May 14 through
Friday, May 18, and Monday, May 21-Friday, May 25, 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.,
on the ECHS soccer field. All participants must turn in their athletic
handbook paperwork to Coach Rea, in order to participate in these practices.
