of the year. There will be a silent auction for the “quiet types”
and a live auction for the “rowdy folk.” There is also a
50/50 raffle for some added fun! So if a football signed by Chargers
Wide Receiver Eric Parker, a facial at Spa-licious, or a cookie basket
from Cookies by Design gets you a hoppin’, get on down to the
school office or watch for us after school Monday, Thursday and Friday
and buy your tickets now!! Tickets are on sale only until Tuesday, September
25 and are $20.00. The event is Saturday, September 29 from 5:00 p.m.
to 8:30 p.m. Any questions, call Dana Staebell at 760-839-3450.

Even for the unfortunate souls afraid of the trapeze.
Cotton candy, bungee trampolines, and more
There will be carnival games galore.
Fifteen dollars is the fee
And once admitted everything is free!
Bring a guest, or two, or three
For this is a great event all will agree.
September 21st is the date to hold dear
Now everyone get together your carnival gear!
Juniors & Seniors:
It’s prom time again! If you want to be involved in making Prom
2008 a night to remember, then come join the prom committee for our
first meeting on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at lunch in Mrs. Soule’s
room (C102).
Seniors:
The prom committee needs your help! We are sponsoring our first annual
Senior Sweatshirt Design Contest, and we need your submissions. The
sweatshirt must have a design on the back, hood, and front-left “pocket”
(total of three designs). You must submit all three designs on 8 ½
x 11 sheets of paper (please label on the back where each graphic belongs
on the sweatshirt). You should consider the white tiger as part of your
theme, and it would also be advisable to include Seniors/Class of 2008
in the design as well (Last year’s sweatshirt also included all
of the names of the graduating seniors). You may use only two colors
(select from maroon, white, and black) for the graphics. You must also
select the sweatshirt color (maroon, white, or black—whichever
color you do not select for the graphics). These graphics will be scanned
and then printed directly onto the sweatshirts, so the lines and colors
must be precise. Submissions are due Friday, October 12, 2007 by 3:00
p.m. The winner of this contest will receive two free tickets to prom.
TCP seniors should make submissions to Mrs. Childs in C100, and ILP
students should make submissions to Mrs. Brooks in the front office.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Childs in person, via
phone (760.737.3154x237) or e-mail (kchilds@echs.org).
Class Baskets for Round Up:
Show your class spirit!! Your basket contributions can be left in the
Main Office through Friday, September 21. The winning class will receive
an all expense paid catered luncheon from Chipotle’s. This year's
themes are: Freshmen -- Pamper Me Basket; Sophomores -- Date Night Basket;
Juniors -- Beach Basket; Seniors -- Pet Basket. Questions -- Fliers
are available in the Front Office. May the best class win!
