Students the Challenge is On!
The Round Up Committee challenges you, collectively, to sell at least
50 tickets to the school's auction! If all of you, as a group, are able
to sell at least 50 tickets we will have a $100.00 raffle. Each student
who sells an auction ticket will receive a raffle entry for each ticket
sold. The more tickets you sell, the better your chances are of winning
the Hundred Bucks! You have until Tuesday 9/25 to complete the challenge.
The Round Up Committee will be at school during lunch & after school
so that you can turn in your ticket money.
Grand Opening:
All parents, students, staff, and community members are invited to the
grand opening of the American Spirit Theater and Gymnasium on Thursday,
September 27 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
PSAT:
Only 20 seats left! Juniors and sophomores should see Mrs. McCrory or
Mrs. Endermann with a $12 payment (cash or check made payable to ECHS)
to register. Note: The PSAT Exam will be administered on Wednesday,
October 17.
Parents Needed:
Parent volunteers are needed to help with the September 29 fundraiser
as well as PAB sponsored events throughout the school year. If you have
questions, please contact Frank Rumbawa, PAB president, at 760-739-9102.
TCP & ILP Seniors:
The prom committee needs your help! We are sponsoring our first annual
Senior Sweatshirt Design Contest, and we need your submissions. The
sweatshirt must have a design on the back, hood, and front-left “pocket”
area (total of three designs). You must submit all three designs on
8 ½ x 11 sheets of paper (please label on the back where each
graphic belongs on the sweatshirt). You should consider the white tiger
as part of your theme, and it would also be advisable to include Seniors/Class
of 2008 in the design as well (Last year’s sweatshirt also included
all of the names of the graduating seniors). You may use only two colors
(select from maroon, white, and black) for the graphics. You must also
select the sweatshirt color (maroon, white, or black—whichever
color you do not select for the graphics). These graphics will be scanned
and then printed directly onto the sweatshirts, so the lines and colors
must be precise. Submissions are due Friday, October 12, 2007 by 3:00
p.m. The winner of this contest will receive two free tickets to prom.
TCP seniors should make submissions to Mrs. Childs in C100, and ILP
students should make submissions to
Ms. Brooks in the front office. If you have any questions, please contact
Mrs. Childs in person, via phone (760-737-3154x237) or e-mail (kchilds@echs.org).
