Saxon Day (TCP):
Saxon Day is almost here! ECHS's 9th annual celebration of Saxon Math will be held on Tuesday, November 20, so start preparing your math-or Saxon-related songs, skits, or other performances! Since Saxon Day will be in the theater this year, you can also submit short videos! All acts (including videos) should be no more than 5 minutes in length, and you can sign them up with Mr. Endermann in F100 starting today. Acts will be screened after school on Friday, November 16. If you have any questions, ask Mr. Endermann or your math teacher. Go Saxon!

College Application Reminder:
The filing period for University of California and California State University campuses closes November 30. If you need an updated copy of your transcript to fill out the self-reported academic section or have any questions related to specific items in the application see Mrs. McCrory.

Warm up in the morning!
CSF is now offering hot cocoa every morning right outside the arch for just $1.00.

Reward Our Firefighters:
As a way to say “Thanks” to the firefighters from the Midway fire station, ECHS is collecting gift cards. We’d like to treat these men and women to a cool treat, so please pick up Cold Stone and Baskin Robbins ice cream gift cards, to be presented to the 33 firefighters of our local station by November 13. Turn in gift cards to the decorated bag in the main office.

Help Fire Victims:
It’s time for an old-fashioned community rummage sale to raise money for ECHS families who have been affected by the recent fires. Gently used, sellable items will be collected Friday, November 9 and the morning of November 10 for a rummage sale to be held here at school on Saturday, November 10. If you can help set up, sell, clean up, haul away, or just donate items, please DO! Contact Jesse Torres or Ms. Rittenhouse to sign up to help or get more information.
