Save The Date!
The Annual Christmas Dinner/Dance is scheduled for Thursday, December 20. Tickets are on sale during lunch for TCP students. ILP students who are Blended (i.e., taking at least one TCP class this semester) can purchase their tickets in the Main Office. The Dinner/Dance, hosted by the P.A.B., will be held at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. Cost is $15 per person and is sure to be fun for all! Great food, music, friends and fun! Watch for more info coming soon!

Attention Students:
The long awaited Charter Olympics are finally here! Please rally your class and meet us on the field during lunch everyday next week for some good Charter fun. Also, the Community Clean up has been rescheduled to the Saturday after Charter Olympics, December 8. Please arrive by 9 a.m. and plan to stay until noon; it's a great way to earn community service hours. Finally, ASB will be holding elections for new officers on December 14. If you are committed to working hard for ASB, please sign up in Mr. Takagi's room from Thursday, November 28 through Thursday, December 6. Please remember, only juniors are eligible for the positions of President and Vice-President while both juniors and sophomores are eligible for the positions of Secretary and Treasurer. Also, a 3.5 GPA is required for eligibility for all officer positions.

Senior Portfolio Deadline (TCP):
All seniors are reminded your letter of recommendation is due to your mentor no later than Monday, December 3.

Choir Christmas Concert:
You will not want to miss the ECHS Choral Arts Society’s Annual Christmas Concert on Friday, December 7, in the American Spirit Theatre at 7:15 p.m. Only $5.00 admission will get you in the door and you will walk out with the Holiday Spirit ringing in your ears. Don’t miss what will be a great concert. Bring your friends and family.

College Application Deadline:
The deadline to submit applications to University of California and California State University campuses is this Friday, November 30. See Mrs. McCrory if you would like her to review your on-line application before you submit.

Community Service Opportunity:
Heritage K-8 is looking for volunteers to help with Parent’s Night Out scheduled for November 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Volunteers will help supervise kids in the multi-purpose room while they watch movies, play games, and eat snacks. Interested students should contact Leanne Megna in the Heritage K-8 office at 737-3111.

Community Service Deadline:
Students are expected to earn a minimum 4 hours of community service each semester. Students are reminded to submit your hours using the Community Service Record Form available in the main office. The deadline to submit hours for this semester is Monday, December 17.

Seniors:
Senior Sweatshirts are available to order for $35. It will include all the names of the graduating seniors from TCP and ILP. Please take the opportunity to buy this sweatshirt to show your class spirit and keep you warm. Sweatshirts may be purchased from Mrs. Childs (C100) after school any day of the week until November 30. They will also be available during lunch in front of the library on Friday (11/30). Order forms will be available in your English classes. Please include all the required information (especially the desired size in adult sizes), and bring exact cash or checks made out to ECHS ASB. ILP: Order forms are available with Ms. Brooks in the main office and you will place your orders with her as well.

Congratulations:
Congratulations to Kyle Broxterman, who placed 32 out of 201 runners at the California State Cross Country meet on Saturday, November 24. Great work, Kyle! Go White Tigers!!!

Volleyball Awards:
Our White Tiger volleyball team will celebrate their successful season with their awards banquet on Friday, November 30, 5:30 p.m., in the Student Union. All players and their family members are invited to attend the banquet. Contact Coach Henry @ 760-522-7258 for more information. Go White Tigers!
