ISPE (TCP):
ISPE logs are due. Logs will not be accepted after Tuesday. All ISPE
logs and essays should be placed in the basket in the Library.
ISPE Essay Due December 20 (TCP)!
This is a reminder for all students enrolled in ISPE. The ISPE essays
are due Thursday, December 20, and must be submitted by being placed
in the ISPE basket in the library. Essays must be typed AND be a minimum
of 500 words. If you have questions about the content of the essay,
please contact Mr. Brose.
Seniors:
We will continue to sell senior sweatshirts for $35 until December 20,
2007. The order will come in after the Christmas Break. The sweatshirts
will include all the names of the graduating seniors from TCP and ILP.
Please take the opportunity to buy this sweatshirt to show your class
spirit and keep you warm. Sweatshirts may be purchased from Mrs. Childs
(C100) during breaks or after school any day of the week until December
20. They will also be available during lunch in front of the library
on the following days: Wednesday (12/5), Friday (12/7), Wednesday (12/12),
and Friday (12/14). Order forms are available in your English classes.
Please include all the required information (especially the desired
size in adult sizes), and bring exact cash or checks made out to ECHS
ASB. ILP: Order forms are available with Mrs. Brooks in the front office
and you will place your orders with her as well.
Senior Portfolio Deadline (TCP):
All seniors are reminded your letter of recommendation is due to your
mentor today, Monday, December 3.
Attention Students:
The long awaited Charter Olympics are finally here! Please rally your
class and meet us on the field during lunch everyday this week for some
good Charter fun.
Get Involved!
ASB will be holding elections for new officers on December 14. If you
are committed to working hard for ASB, please sign up in Mr. Takagi's
room from Thursday, November 28 through Thursday, December 6. Please
remember, only Juniors are eligible for the positions of President and
Vice-President while both Juniors and Sophomores are eligible for the
positions of Secretary and Treasurer. Also, a 3.5 GPA is required for
eligibility to all officer positions.
Community Service Deadline:
Students are expected to earn a minimum 4 hours of community service
each semester. Students are reminded to submit your hours using the
Community Service Record Form available in the main office. The deadline
to submit hours for this semester is Monday, December 17.
Community Service Opportunity:
The Community Clean up has been rescheduled to the Saturday after Charter
Olympics, December 8. Please arrive by 9 a.m. and plan to stay until
noon; it's a great way to earn community service hours.
Parent’s Night Out:
Thank you to all students who volunteered for the Heritage K-8 Parent’s
Night Out on November 30. Due to the popularity and success of the event,
a second Parent’s Night Out is scheduled for Saturday, December
15. Heritage K-8 is looking for volunteers to help supervise kids in
the multi-purpose room while they watch movies, play games, and eat
snacks from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Interested students should contact Leanne
Megna in the Heritage K-8 office at 737-3111.
Choir Christmas Concert:
You will not want to miss the ECHS Choral Arts Society’s Annual
Christmas Concert on Friday, December 7, in the American Spirit Theatre
at 7:15 p.m. Only $5.00 admission will get you in the door and you will
walk out with the Holiday Spirit ringing in your ears. Don’t miss
what will be a great concert. Bring your friends and family.
Driver's Ed (TCP):
All TCP Drivers Ed students are reminded that Thursday's meeting will
be attended by two police officers. Please ensure that you arrive no
later than 7:10 a.m. on Thursday morning.
NHS:
There will be a meeting during lunch on Tuesday after Charter Olympics.
Come find out about a fun upcoming community service opportunity.
CSF:
Emergency!!! We need your help for a big event. Please attend a special
meeting this Wednesday during lunch in F203 to plan!!!
Cross Country Awards Banquet:
All cross country runners and their families are invited to the awards
banquet on Thursday, December 6, 7-9 p.m., in the student union. Please
