Week 18
ISPE (TCP)!
ISPE logs are due. Logs will not be accepted after Tuesday. All ISPE
logs should be placed in the basket in the Library. The ISPE essays
for all students enrolled in ISPE are due Thursday, December 20. Essays
must be submitted in the ISPE basket in the library. Essays must be
typed AND be a minimum of 500 words. If you have questions about the
content of the essay, please contact Mr. Brose.
Modified Day:
There will be a modified bell schedule on Friday, December 14. Student
dismissal will remain at 2:55 p.m.
Note:
The modified schedule is attached (schedule # 2). TCP teachers, please
inform Blended students of the modified schedule.
Attention students:
This week is Spirit Week! Please dress up according to the following
themes: Monday, Black and White Day, Tuesday, Retro Day, Wednesday,
‘80s workout day, Thursday, Cardboard Day and Friday, Element
Day. On Element Day, the seniors will be fire, the juniors will be wind,
the sophomores will be earth, and the freshmen will be water. All costumes
must be Charter appropriate. On Wednesday, ASB will host an ‘80s
workout session in the theater.
PSAT Results:
Score reports for the PSAT Exam arrived! All TCP students who took the
PSAT exam in October should report to the theatre on Wednesday, December
12 at 3:00 p.m. to receive score reports and guidance regarding how
to best utilize the information contained in the report. The meeting
will last approximately 20 minutes. All ILP students who took the PSAT
exam will receive score reports from their Teacher of Record next week.
ASB Elections:
Candidates for ASB officer positions will deliver election speeches
during a brief morning assembly on Thursday, December 13. Voting will
take place in front of the library during lunch.

Christmas Dinner!
The Annual Christmas Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, December 20.
Tickets are on sale during lunch for TCP students. ILP students who
are Blended (i.e., taking at least one TCP class this semester) can
purchase their tickets in the Main Office. The Dinner/Dance, hosted
by the P.A.B., will be held at the California Center for the Arts in
Escondido. Cost is $15 per person and is sure to be fun for all! Great
food, music, friends and fun!
Drivers Ed:
The Driver's Ed. final exam will be administrated on Thursday Dec 13.
All Students must complete the 4 packets that follow the 2007 Drivers
Handbook and read the sections in their textbooks in preparation for
the exam. Students who need assistance should see Mr. Webber this week.
Seniors:
Senior sweatshirts are still available to order for $35. Orders will
be accepted until December 20, 2007. Orders may be placed with Mrs.
Childs (C100) during lunch, before or after school or with Ms. Brooks
in the main office. Please include all the required information (especially
the desired size in adult sizes), and bring exact cash or checks made
out to ECHS ASB. ILP: Order forms are still available with Ms. Brooks
in the main office and you will place your orders with her as well.
Attention Students!
Hungry like a wolf during finals week? Horribly disappointed that the
lunch man doesn't sell lunch during finals week? You are in luck! The
ECHS Alumni Association will be providing a tantalizing variety of foods
after finals on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, December 18, 19, and
20. The menu includes:
Tuesday (12/18):
mouthwatering marinated bratwurst cooked on a grill with a side of potato
salad
Wednesday (12/19):
classy club sandwiches (smoked turkey, roasted turkey, or ham) served
with cheese and your choice of lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and mustard
along with a side of chips
Thursday (12/20):
2 sumptuous tacos, including a glorious taco bar with all of the fixings,
as well as chips and salsa
All dishes include an ice cold soda at no extra charge. Prices are $4
for one meal, $7 for two meals, or $10 for 3 meals. The more you buy,
the more you save! Meal tickets will be sold during lunch beginning
Monday, December 10. These meals are also open to parents and siblings,
so make sure to buy tickets for the whole family!

JSA:
What says "Happy Holidays" better than a candy cane from a
friend? Nothing! That's why JSA will sell candy-cane-grams Monday (12/10),
Tuesday (12/11), Thursday (12/13), and Friday (12/14) at lunch for $1.
You can write a note to your friends, and we can deliver it with a peppermint
candy cane and a smile on Monday, December 17. Thanks for your support
and have a great end of the semester!
