ISPE (TCP):
ISPE logs are due. Logs will not be accepted after Tuesday. All ISPE logs
and essays should be placed in the basket in the library. ISPE essays
and final logs will be due on Friday, May 23. Please contact Mr. Brose
if you have any questions about the content of the ISPE essay.
Spring Cleanup (TCP):
All TCP students are encouraged to attend this year’s Spring Cleanup
on Saturday, May 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. After the cleanup, ECHS
will provide pizza and drinks for everyone!
AP Exams (TCP):
The following AP Exams will be administered at 8:00 a.m. on the dates
noted below. Room assignments are noted in parentheses.
United States Government,

Advanced Performing Arts:
ECHS will offer an advanced performing arts course sixth period next year.
Interested students currently enrolled in performing arts will be enrolled
based on teacher recommendation. Interested students who are not currently
enrolled in performing arts may audition to take the course. Auditions
will take place the week of May 19. See Mrs. McCrory no later than Friday,
May 9 to determine if the course fits in your schedule and for audition
details.
Choir: Mr. Halling is recruiting male voices for the choir.
If you are a returning male student with an interest in music theory and
music performance, take a risk, enroll in choir to satisfy your fine art
requirement or earn elective credits. See Mrs. McCrory if you would like
to change your fine art or elective selection to choir.
Summer School (TCP):
Summer school will be held from June 9 to July 3. Classes will be held
from 8:00 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. daily. Students may complete a maximum of
two semesters of work (10 credits). All students who have NOT successfully
completed all courses for their current grade level or who are credit
deficient should attend summer school. Please see Mrs. McCrory if you
have any questions about summer school.
Grad Nite 2008 - California Cruisin' (TCP):
Grad Night tickets may be purchased Tuesday (tomorrow) during lunch in
front of the library. The cost is $40 per ticket. Come join your fellow
graduates on your last night together and enjoy the many activities planned
for the evening, including prizes and give-aways, food, photo booth, souvenir
photograph, games, art activity and live entertainment. Grad Nite will
be on May 30 from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
PAB General Meeting:
The Parent Advisory Board presents "A Year in Review," our final
informational meeting of the school year. Come join us as our guest speakers,
Coach and Mr. Roner, review all of the great accomplishments of the year
and more importantly, give a hint of where we're going next year. The
PAB will also be electing new officers. The presentation will be held
in the theater Tuesday, May 6, at 7:00 p.m. An Ice Cream Social will follow
and our traditional raffle as well. Come and enjoy this time with us.
Community Service Opportunity:
If you are a student who loves science and enjoys working with children
consider volunteering as a summer camp intern at the Fleet Science Center
in Balboa Park. Opportunities are available for camps in July and August.

reported for the fall semester.
Welcome A-Board, Parent Advisory Board that is:
The Escondido Charter High School Parent Advisory Board has had a successful
year in serving our students and our school. We are now looking toward
next year and asking you to join us. The work is fun and rewarding. If
you are an outgoing person who likes to be involved, it is an excellent
opportunity to be a greater part of your child’s education and to
learn more about ECHS. We work closely with the staff and administration
to further the positive experience your child is receiving at ECHS. There
is opportunity for anyone who would desire to be a part of this support
team. We now have openings for class representatives from freshman to
senior class of the 2008-2009 school year. For more information please

Yearbook:
It is time to purchase your yearbook. Since the yearbook staff only ordered
300 yearbooks this year, they will be sold on a first-come first-served
basis. To order your yearbook, please turn in your order form and payment
to the Main Office. Order forms are available in the Main Office. Don’t
miss out!
Spaghetti Dinner:
Support the Girl's Softball team by participating in this year's spaghetti
dinner/fundraiser on Friday, May 9, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the
Student union. The cost is $10 per person and $30 per family. Tickets
can be purchased from your favorite softball player or call Laura Geist
at 619-885-6552(c) 760-781-3379(h). Tickets will also be sold at the door.
Prom Court:
TCP juniors and seniors who are attending prom need to come vote for prom
court on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday during lunch in front of the library.
Every junior or senior attending prom is eligible for the TCP Prom Court.
The votes this week will select the top 4-5 students for king, queen,
prince, and princess. At prom, students will vote again to select the
final winners of the Prom Court. The ILP Prom Court will be voted for
at prom.
Seniors:
To celebrate the completion of Senior Exhibition, Senior Sweatshirts will
be sold for $28 (20% off the total price) through May 2. There are only
a few left, so come get your sweatshirt while supplies last. Sweatshirts
will be sold every day in Mrs. Childs’ room (C100) or in the front
office with Mrs. Cale or Mrs. Price.
NHS:
Graduating NHS seniors need to turn in stole orders by Tuesday, May 13.
CSF:
There will be a meeting and a bake sale on Tuesday, May 6. Don’t
forget to bake!

Football Spring Training Sessions:
The ECHS White Tiger Football teams will kick off the 2008 football campaign
with spring training sessions during the weeks of May 12-16, and May 19-23.
Each daily practice session time will be from 3:30 PM-5:30 PM on the ECHS
Soccer Field. All students need to turn in the athletic handbook forms
before they are eligible to participate in the spring practices. Students
need to wear a T-shirt, athletic shorts, and football cleats. Remember:
we all in this together, so let’s do things right! Questions? Contact
