Week 2

Back-to-School Night: All parents of TCP and Blended students are invited to attend this year’s Back-to-School Night on Thursday, August 20. The event will kickoff in the American Spirit Theater at 6:00 p.m. We hope you take this important opportunity to meet your student’s teachers, learn more about the Traditional Classroom Program, and ask questions. See you there!

Student Handbooks (TCP): All TCP students were issued a Student Handbook during first period Thursday, August 14. After reading the handbook, both the student and the parent should sign the Acknowledgment Form and return it to the first period teacher no later than Tuesday, August 18.

Parking Permits: All ILP and TCP students parking a car at school must register or re-register their vehicle and obtain a parking permit prior to September 4. Registration forms may be picked up at the Main Office. A parking permit will be issued when the registration form is completed and returned to the Main Office. After September 4, vehicles without a parking permit will be given one warning and then booted.

Summer Independent Study PE (TCP): Students who participated in the ISPE program during the summer are reminded that all logs and essays are to be submitted to Mrs. Lasley (Library) on Tuesday, August 25.

Independent Study PE (TCP): A Mandatory meeting to discuss the ISPE program and hand out contracts for the fall semester will be held on Wednesday, August 19, at 3:00 p.m. in the theater. At the meeting, students will receive detailed information regarding the program, requirements, and course expectations. In addition, students will receive a contract. There will be a make up meeting (for students who absolutely can not attend Wednesday’s meeting) on Friday, August 21, at 3:00 p.m. in F202 (Mrs. Lasley’s Room).
