23, 2009 ISPE (TCP): ISPE logs are due. Logs will not be accepted after Tuesday. All ISPE logs, essays, and contracts should be placed in the basket in the Library. Awards Assembly (TCP): An assembly to recognize students who earned honor
roll status for the second semester of last school year will be held on
Friday, September 25. All students should assemble in the gym at 2:00
p.m. Congratulations to all the honor roll students! Attention all Students! The 2010 Yearbook, "A MODERN PERSPECTIVE," is now on sale! This year's book features fifty additional pages of wonderful memories, as well as an extra 18 inches of delightful page layout area per page. The cost is $70.00 per book. A reservation can be made by placing a $35.00 deposit with either Mr. Panlasigui or Mrs. Jones. Cost of the book will increase to $80.00 starting December 11, 2009. Make checks payable to the "ECHS ASB" and place "Yearbook" in the check memo. PSAT Registration: PSAT registration is now open to both juniors and sophomores. To register, bring your $13 payment, cash (exact change) or check made payable to ECHS, to Mrs. Endermann in the Library. The PSAT will be held on Wednesday, October 14 at 8:00 a.m. Registration is limited to the first 100 students who register. Chips for Charter: ECHS PAB presents Chips for Charter. Don’t miss this exciting night out! We have a great evening lined up! This year our fund raising event will be held at the California Center for the Arts – Escondido, October 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Buy your tickets for the ECHS PAB annual fund raiser NOW. Tickets are on sale until October 1 (seating is limited). Tickets are available online at echs.org, from any PAB member, or the Main Office. You may also mail a check to ECHS PAB in care of the school and your tickets will be on will call the evening of the event. See you there! Homecoming 2009: Take a stroll downtown for this year's Homecoming Dance, "Night Life 09", on Saturday, October 17, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the American Spirit Theater. Tickets are on sale for $30 during lunch in front of the library. Friday, September 25, is the last day to purchase a ticket for $30. Remember, if you plan on bringing a guest you must have the guest pass already approved in order to purchase your guest's ticket. For more information, come to the ticket table at lunch. Support ECHS Athletics and Extra-Curricular Activities: The Eighth Annual ECHS Gold Tournament is Monday, October 12 at the Vineyard Golf Course, and we need your help! We are looking for players, donations, gift cards, and sponsorships. So come out and enjoy a day of golf. You will have a great time while supporting a great cause. To register, go to the website and click on the registration form. If you can't play but would like to contribute, please call Sheri Kennedy at ext. 165. Campus Preview Days: Are you a senior who still needs help finalizing or prioritizing the list of colleges and universities you plan on applying to? Consider attending a fall campus preview day, designed to give prospective students an inside look at a particular college or university with organized events such as campus tours, residence hall tours, department information sessions, and club fairs. Visit the websites of the schools you are interested in for more information. NHS: All members are requested to attend this week’s meeting Tuesday at lunch in F203.
