2009 CSU/UC Application Deadline: The application filing deadline for CSU and UC campuses is Monday, November 30. Charter Olympics (TCP): The Charter Olympics will commence on Monday,
November 30. Each day at lunch, come out and support your class by participating
in the events or by cheering on your friends. The winning class will enjoy
fame and glory and power! The schedule of events will be as follows: Modified Day (TCP): Wednesday, December 2, is a modified day for TCP
teacher professional development training. Student dismissal is at 2:00
p.m. Community Cleanup: Come earn your community service hours and beautify Escondido at the same time! Attend Escondido Charter High School's Community Cleanup on Saturday, December 5, from 9:00 am to 12:00 p.m. Food will be provided. Community Service Opportunity: The Escondido Salvation Army is looking for student volunteers to help during the Holiday Season. The Salvation Army needs students to help in two areas: (1) The Christmas Center where students prepare, organize, and distribute presents to needy families and (2) The Cold Weather Shelter where students help serve dinners, work in the kitchen, and perform in an evening program. RYLA Conference: The Escondido Rotary Club is looking for ECHS juniors with demonstrated or potential leadership skills to attend the 2009 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Conference scheduled for Friday, April 16 to Sunday April 18 in Idyllwild Pines. Don’t miss this opportunity to attend an all expenses paid three day conference designed to develop and enhance student leadership skills. Additional information and application materials are available from Mrs. McCrory or Mrs. Endermann in the library. Applications are due no later than Wednesday, December 9 at 3:00 p.m. Ho! Ho! Ho! It’s time for our Annual Christmas Dinner! This year’s
event will be held on Friday, December 18, CSF & NHS: There will be no meeting this week. The next CSF meeting is Tuesday, December 1, during lunch.
Civil Air Patrol: Meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. beginning the first week in December. NOSB/Marine Science Club: The Marine Science Club will meet Thursday during lunch in room F104. All Athletes: If you played a fall sport and will be playing a winter sport as well, please notify Mrs. Reese in the Front Office so that we can move your Athletic Handbook forms to the new sport.
