A Message From "Coach"
Executive Director
Welcome to the Escondido Charter High School Team! We have a great challenge
and opportunity to make our commitment to educational choice and competition
a success. It will take continuous hard work, dedication, determination,
teamwork, and the ability to look at education as a business with the
attitude of how can we best serve our customers. In order to be successful,
we need team members that are willing to express their ideas and opinions,
and then listen to the opinions and ideas of others in order to make the
best decisions possible to produce winners. In this case winners refer
to students that are prepared to take advantage of the many options and
opportunities that will be available to them upon graduation from Escondido
Charter High School.Our school's overall philosophy is guided by the following
acronym:

C=Convictions:
We hold the following beliefs:
Education is our business. We are customer oriented. We believe in personal
responsibility and accountability. We are committed to improving each
student's educational level.
Our Back to Basics curriculum is based on the fundamentals:
1 . Reading & writing the English language
2 . Traditional mathematics
3 . Science
4 . Computer literacy
5 . Emphasis on U.S. History
O=Over learn:
We believe in review and repetition in order to achieve mastery. We will
take our students from where they are when they enroll at Escondido Charter
High School and improve their performance.
A=Audibles:
We are willing to make adjustments as needed. We will not be complacent.
C=Consistency:
We will follow through on our expectations of our staff, students, and
parents.
H=Honesty based:
We will do the right thing - not because we have to, but because it is
the right thing to do. We will do what we say we are going to do because
we stand for integrity. We will use the public funds with which we have
been entrusted to provide the best education possible. We realize that
school satisfaction is based on many factors. Escondido Charter High School
offers you the opportunity for input, achievement, and contributing to
the overall success of the team as we strive to provide an excellent place
of learning for your students.
